Oh yeah…
I almost forgot about our late night of sinning. So, Fiona’s friend, who she just happened to play soccer with in high school and works at the Hutong school, and her boyfriend took us out for a night of Beijing fun. First off was dinner; delicious and off the beaten path. People were still staring while we ate some of the best chinese food to date. After, we hit up a small irish pub located in a small ally with beer that cost about $1.30. The best part is that tipping is not customary. We got our beers to go and hit up the next bar, which is where poor James was nearly violated occurred. Lastly we were taken to this upstairs bar next to a legit Apple store. Drinks were still relatively dirt cheep and there were darts. Congratulations to Ilya and Goody for taking down an American and a kiwi (new Zealander). All in all a successful night that is planned to repeat on Friday after the alumni dinner.
